Our staff at Omnis is always seeking the best practices. That’s why it’s important to be aware of the evolving policies surrounding the treatment community. The Maryland Behavioral Health Coalition is a diverse mix of more than fifty not for profit non-governmental organizations working together to ensure individuals affected by mental health and substance use disorders receive effective and efficient care.

On 2/22/18, they’ll be holding a rally in Annapolis to advocate for legislation that makes access to life saving treatment more affordable, more robust and bringing about more awareness of it’s importance to the general populous. Keep Open Door MD, and other groups like it, are doing the hard work of keeping the seriousness of substance abuse issues in the forefront of our every day conversations.
